We started Doof Medics because event medical cover should be more than a first-aid kit and a fold-out table. It should be professional, proactive and genuinely part of the community it serves.
Doof Medics was founded by paramedics and nurses who spent their weekends both working festivals and attending them. We saw the same thing again and again: patrons who needed help avoided it, because on-site medical felt intimidating, clinical or judgemental.
So we built something different — a service that pairs serious clinical capability with a welfare-led, non-judgemental culture. People trust us, so they come to us early. That means fewer emergencies, fewer hospital transfers, and safer events for everyone. Today we cover festivals, doofs and large events right across New South Wales.
